Trailhead Women’s Book Club

The next meeting of the Trailhead Women’s Book Club will be Tuesday, November 18th at 7:30 pm at the church. We’ll be discussing The Correspondent by Virginia Evans, enjoying some baked goods, and lamenting that it’s taken this long to get back together! Whether you’ve read the book or just read the synopsis, we’d love to have you!

Mark Your Calendar – Community Christmas Movie

Plan now to invite your friends to join us as we host an interactive viewing of the movie Elf on Sunday, December 7. More details will be coming soon!

We Grow in Community

We believe God calls us to grow in grace through relationships with other believers. At Trailhead, the key vehicle for that kind of growth is through our Community Groups. If you are not in a group, and would like to join one, please email aparks@trailheadonline.org and we will get you connected with a group!

Be a Part of the Mission

Are you ready to get involved? We have teams that serve both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week, on stage and behind the scenes. God can use your gifts to help further his mission through Trailhead. You can stop by Connection Point after a service or go to trailheadonline.org/ministry-teams for more information on how to start serving.

Worship Team Auditions

If you have musical skills, and you’d like to use those skills to help Trailhead enter into worship together, we’d like to invite you to audition for Trailhead’s worship team. To sign up for auditions, or if you have any questions, please contact rwalker@trailheadonline.org.

Baptism

If your heart has been captured by the gospel and you want to let everyone know about it, we’d love to celebrate with you in baptism! If you’d like to be baptized or you have questions about baptism, you can reach out to Aaron at aparks@trailheadonline.org.

Looking Forward to Sunday

Series: Titus: Blueprint for a Healthy Church

Title: Mission-Minded

Scripture: Titus 3:1-8

Words to Consider:

My deepest awareness of myself is that I am deeply loved by Jesus Christ and I have done nothing to earn it or deserve it. - Brennan Manning

The Christian leader of the future is called to be completely irrelevant and to stand in this world with nothing to offer but his or her own vulnerable self. That is the way Jesus came to reveal God's love. The great message that we have to carry, as ministers of God's Word and followers of Jesus, is that God loves us not because of what we do or accomplish, but because God has created and redeemed us in love and has chosen us to proclaim that love as the true source of all human life. - Henri Nouwen

Learning requires the humility to realize one has something to learn. - Elizabeth Krumrei Mancuso

Maybe that is what the church uniquely has to offer the world right now -- the message that you do not have to be famous to be known.  You do not have to be perfect to be loved.  You do not have to be proven right to be justified. - Russell Moore
